FREE

Free discovery session is a 30mins call where we discuss your business case and explore the ways I can help you. It is not binding in regards to making any further commitments, so feel free to use the opportunity for some free tips and checking out a potential game changer cooperation.

400 USD

If you’d like me to meet you somewhere on the (idea2launch) way, the Quick Fix package is an effective program to align your journey in 4 weeks. Includes 4 (weekly) 30mins calls to brainstorm your challenges and plans. Between the weekly calls, we both do our homework: I do review / problem investigation (for example I take a look at some of your artifacts such as your Trello/Jira board, lean canvas, storyboard, roadmap, sprint meeting recording etc.) and you experiment with my tips and guidelines. In addition, each time you get call summary in PDF and/or Loom, for your reference.

Your Idea 2 Launch Journey

Ideation and Requirements Gathering

We’ll set off with one or more calls in order for me to understand your product idea, the pain point you are attempting to solve for your target audience and the way you envisioned the solution. I’ll also need to know the stage of the development, your goals and the structure of the current team if any. Most likely I’ll be asking tons of questions 🙂 This is also useful for you to revise your vision – often we tend to get more clarity while explaining our ideas to the others.

Depending on the stage, we might work on the lean canvas together, research competitors etc. I trust you know your domain and your target audience the best, but it’s also important that we share the vision. We’ll do the high level top-down breakdown and map out the story board, so that we can capture the user oriented features.

Defining MVP

Looking at the storyboard, we’ll decide on the features that will go into the MVP (Minimal Viable Product) or the next release (if your product is already out there). The goal is always to get the user feedback as early as possible, so the features will always be selected based on the added value and the clear representation of the solution.

Creating the backlog for the product will be the next step. We’ll make sure to note down all and document the highest priority features, in an easy and understandable way.

The backlog is a live artifact – we’ll keep adding new details and re-prioritizing as we go. Every new learning about the product, market, users, dev – will be reflect on the backlog.

Recruiting the team

I am not an agency so I won’t offer you the team of people that I already employ. That means that you won’t be locked in any pre-defined tech stack, but rather we’ll choose the technologies that suit your solution the best. It also means that your team is your asset. When my consulting arrangement is completed, you stay with the team. I use global marketplaces to hire experts on your behalf and the invoices for their work are sent to you by the marketplaces. All is transparent and there are no extra commissions from my side.

I have years of experience with defining the structure of the team, hiring, onboarding and managing the teams of freelancers and can help you to always have the right person for the job – software architects, programmers, QA specialists, designers, copywriters, branding strategist etc.

Setting up the collaboration tools and management processes

I’ll set up the collaboration tools on both dev (fx Jira) and business side (fx Trello) as well as the communication channels (fx Slack) together with the bots, integrations etc. In addition, I’ll educate the team how to use the tools in order to achieve the async (as needed in remote work conditions) yet transparent and mutually supportive collaboration.

Based on the agile principles, we’ll design the workflow that best suits your business (depending on how much you desire to be involved, the scale of the operation, the stage of dev, the structure of the team, the nature of the product as in internal automation / B2C / B2B, the requirements gathering possibilities, the user acceptance and feedback access, financing and monetization and the relevant stakeholders etc.).

Recruiting and training my own replacement (product manager)

After the initial setup I’ll help you hire a manager who can overtake the already set process. I’ll mentor the junior professional and craft a long-term core team member for your business.

Managing the software product development

As the bridge role between the business and the tech side, I will be checking in on all the streams (requirements, dev, marketing) making sure everybody in the team is on the same page and has no blockers. I’ll support the new manager with facilitating the meetings: demos, iteration plannings, retrospectives etc. I’ll make sure the process is based on the best practices in the domains of documenting, implementing, testing etc.

With you, as someone the product idea came from, I’ll work closely on selecting and specifying the features, user acceptance and feedback. Together we’ll create and maintain the product roadmap.

The requirements gathering process and the implementation process need to by in sync in order to achieve high level of efficiency.

Remaining available for consulting and mentoring

As we together see fit and agree, I’ll stay in the mentor role for some time – keeping an eye on the big picture, helping decision making, sharing tips, guiding the journey. This also makes it easier for me to instantly increase my involvement when you need more support going through a team structure change, new release launch etc. as I don’t lose track of your business progress. Naturally, we’d adjust the pricing package based on these decreased/increased project needs.
